Happy Birthday to me! I'm now 3!

Can you believe that I am 3 years old now? Mommy can not believe it either - it feels like we just moved from Georgia and now we are becoming KS locals (I've always been a local since I've technically never lived in GA).

Even though Mommy has major Mommy guilt that she didn't do a "real" birthday party for me this year (just too much going on this month), I had a great birthday! First, we started off in Georgia last month with a joint b-day party with Victoria so our GA friends and family could celebrate with us. Then, me and my daycare friends went to Zonkers (kind of like Chucky-Cheese, but complete with indoor rides like roller coasters). I had so much fun riding all the rides - I could do them all and I wasn't scared on any of them!

I got lots of great presents this year too - I got a big boy bike (I am a pro at it already!), a train table, (thanks Marsha & Charna too!) a soccer sleeping bag for all our family/neighborhood camping trips, a thing to race my matchbox cars on, and best of all, a bedroom makeover! Mommy will post those pix in a different post but if you could have only seen my room before, you'd realize how awesome it looks now. I had a great birthday! When I woke up the day after my birthday, I asked Mommy if my birthday was over and when she said yes, I broke down into tears because I wanted my special day to continue on more! Oh well, there is always next year!!!

First day of school 2009

I don't know who was more excited about school starting, me or Mommy. She is looking forward to getting some time alone with no kids (although she'll still have Tori in the morning since she goes to the school in the afternoon)but I'm excited to see my teachers again and all my old friends! Do you like my latest funny face? I've been practicing trying to come up with new ones!

I love riding rides at Old Settlers!

I had so much fun - I am an adrenline junkie - I love the fast rides - I love the roller coasters. I could ride them on and on and on!

Staying at Grandma & Grandpa Lees

I had so much fun at Grandma & Grandpa Lee's - this was my first trip ever to their house. I hope that I have many more visits ahead because there were so many things to see and do - I can't wait to go back!

The girls are taking over...

This is what happens to a boy that hangs out with 4 other girls all day every day. You start acting like a girl. You want your toe nails painted pink. You want to wear a pink tutu. (even though you know it it wrong and try to deny it later, the facts don't lie). You play house and play doctor and do what you are told to do. When is Mommy going to have more boys in daycare!!!

Dinner with both grandparents

Before we left Florida, I got to go out to dinner with both of my grandparents - I'm starting to understand which grandparents go with which parent now. I really liked the restaurant too that I could drop peanut shells all over the floor - how come Mom gets mad at me for doing that at home?

Goofing off with Landon...

My cousins are a hoot - especially Landon. He just makes me laugh and laugh - I want to be just like him when I get bigger!

Beachtime in Florida

I actually didn't enjoy the ocean as much as Mommy and Daddy expected me too - while it is true that I am a fish and LOVE to swim in the water, the salt water was a bit too much for me. I am notorious for swallowing the water I swim in (I'm usually laughing hard and inhale it) and the taste of the salt made me throw up - a lot. But other than that, I loved the beach itself and can't wait to go back again soon!

I love going on the boat!

What else can I say - I love riding PeePaw's boat!

"yucky" food...

Everytime we go to Atlanta, Daddy insists that we go to a food place that makes Mommy's stomach turn. She calls it "yucky" food. At first I tried to support her in her boycott of this terrible place, but once Daddy introduced me to their greasy soggy fries, I started to actual like them. Mommy's stomach turns over seeing us in their uniform hats - Daddy even came home with a t-shirt just to make her even more nauseated. Thank goodness they don't have this chain in KS or else Daddy might have to sleep on the couch a lot!

Georgia aquarium

I've heard about the aquarium before but seeing it in real life just doesn't compare! It was so cool to see all the different types of fish and animals there!

Mom, I'm a funny guy, RIGHT?

I am constantly asking Mommy and Daddy for reassurance that I am a funny guy. As if there was any doubt. I say the funniest things. I certainly have mastered all sorts of funny faces. I love being the class clown and I doing silly dances. How could I not be a funny guy?

And Mommy is laughing all the more looking at these pictures taken on different days and I'm always wearing a farmers hat and cowboy boots. Oh, yes, I am definitely a funny guy.
