Today was my first day getting to go sledding solo - last time I had to sit in Daddy's lap! I really liked it, but I was so bundled up that I could barely move! I just smiled and grunted so that Mommy would know to let me do it again. I love going fast!
Hats. Hats. Hats. I LOVE HATS! It doesn't matter what kind it is or what it looks like - if it is a hat, I will put it on my head. They are my favorite playthings. Mommy laughs at me all the time because I am constantly surprising her with a new hat that I've found. I think I look very dashing!
Well, it's December 6th and I have experienced playing in the first snow of the year! It was so beautiful out - like looking out into a snowglobe! I was mesmerized inside looking at the huge snowflakes falling - they were as big as quarters!! I had my nose pressed against the glass and just pounded on the windows aching to go out and play. First Mommy took me outside after she bundled me up and we went out in the front yard and tried catching snowflakes. I got very still as I watched each flake fall and stick on the ground. Then I got to go out a second time when Daddy came home and he took me sledding! That was my favorite!
Today we went to the park and we noticed all the leaves changing colors! I loved running through the trees and picking up the leaves! It was fun spinning around!
Have I introduced you to Ava yet? Ava is my neighbor and my very good friend. She gets to come over every day and play with me and Tori while her parents go to work. I love her so very much and so does Tori! Everyone thinks she is our sister, and gives Mommy very funny looks until she explains who she is! I can't wait for her to get a little big bigger so I can chase her around the house like I do to Victoria!
I was the hit of Halloween in my "50's" costume! Everyone thought that I was either Fonzie from Happy Days or John Travolta! I just liked wearing my sunglasses and looking super cool!
This beautiful fall weather has been so fun to enjoy! Earlier this week we had a swarm of ladybugs come to our house
to visit. There were literally hundreds of them - EVERYWHERE! They were flying around our heads, landing on our clothes, it was crazy! All the neighborhood kids came over and we collected them in a bug catcher. I found it more fascinating though to let them go free much to my friends dismay!
We went to our favorite farm again and they had all these pumpkins just lying around begging to be rolled. I think that they are big basketballs, but much heavier. I try and try and try but I just can't lift them up. I was getting very frustrated that I couldn't throw them like I wanted!
We went to Deanna Rose today - I love this place! I'm getting so big now that I can run around the farm just like Victoria. Mommy had to keep a close eye on me cuz I am a big explorer!
I got this cool star stacker from Uncle Randall for my birthday and it is so cool! Not many things can keep my attention long but this thing sure does! I like the lights and the sounds it makes even if I stack them in the wrong order. I'm quite proud of my accomplishments!
I had a great first birthday party! Well, except for an ear infection, I mean. Some of my close neighborhood friends came over as well as my Mee-Maw and Pee-Paw from Georgia and we had a great celebration! Daddy had a good time too even though his birthday (the same day) kinda got overlooked. But it WAS MY first birthday, after all! That's a pretty big deal, ya know!
We had a blast at the Old Settlers Fair - I got to eat my first corn dog (and threw up my first corn dog too!) But it sure did taste good while it lasted! Next year I'm going to want to ride some of those cool rides!
The best part of Tori's b-day was that there was a "safety day" going on at the farm and they had all sorts of police cars, firetrucks, ambulances, SWAT trucks, etc. there for us to climb in and explore. I got a really cool fireman hat that I love to play with all the time now! Maybe I'l dress up like one for Halloween!
I get into so much trouble every day. If I'm not climbing into the dishwasher, I'm splashing around in the toliet, or eating food from the garbage can. Mommy says boys are far worse than girls! I can't help it - I like to explore - A LOT!
I have 6 teeth now and I like to use them a lot, especially on Mommy. It's just my way of showing love but she doesn't like it that much - she gets mad at me. I can't help it that I like to chomp down on things!
Now that Mommy is potty training my sister, we spend a lot of time in the bathroom together as a family. I've found a new way to keep myself entertained! Mommy isn't that happy about it but I hear that Victoria did the same thing when she was my age too!
